Melanie Katsalidis recently created this show-stopping bespoke 18ct yellow gold and diamond engagement ring, as a special surprise for a Christmas proposal.
"After seeing an Instagram post I did of a similar diamond before setting it, the client sent me on a big search for something that is hard to find - a rhombus cut with equilateral sides, in a D colour with high clarity. Basically the best of the best! I created an Elevate claw design with the diamond suspended by triangular claws and a knife edge band.
As my work as a jeweller continues to show me over and again, it's always the best when clients trust you to create something special and new and you can come up with an outcome as good as this!"
