/ Kanalaritja: An Unbroken String / Indigenous Jewellery Exhibition Now on at Melbourne Museum /
When the weather turns cold, there's nothing we love more than heading indoors to check out our local galleries.
Our current favourite is Kanalaritja: An Unbroken String at the Bunjilaka Aboriginal Cultural Centre, Melbourne Museum.
Offering a glimpse into the ancient practice of shell stringing, the show is a testament to one of the oldest continuous cultural practices by Tasmanian Aboriginies. Connecting people across time to Community, Culture and Country, Kanalaritja showcases ancestral stories, jewellery, ceremony, ritual and spirit.
