This May, Pieces of Eight presents a capsule collection of finely crafted earrings from Australian-born, New York-based contemporary jeweller & neuroscientist Luke Maninov Hammond.

"From the macroscopic to the microscopic, outside and within, the natural world is decorated with patterns of ordered complexity. Forming as life unfolds, these patterns can be found in the branching of trees and the cells of our body, defining us while also continually capturing our imagination. Emergence is a series of new earrings tracing my exploration of these patterns, from a recreation of finely branched earrings - one of the first earrings I designed when beginning to create jewellery - to newer forms making use of the intricate and captivating interwoven structures found within our bones."
