Introducing: Seb Brown

We're pleased to introduce Seb Brown as a newly represented artist with the launch of his new collection 'Vigiliance', exclusive to Pieces of Eight Gallery .

'Vigilance' is inspired by the ancient notion that a talisman, object or piece of jewellery can protect its beholder or wearer. Each piece references the Evil Eye (Malocchio) or the Sign of The Horn (Calabrian Corna), playing on the notion of protection imbued in an inanimate object. Brown explores the longstanding belief that these symbols have the power to ward off evil spirits.

We also invited Seb to create an installation of 'Vigilance' in the central vitrine, until July 25.
