Kieran Jackson
The jewellery I create is formed around the idea of the wearer, with each piece helping the individual to communicate their story. My ‘Becoming’ series was built around a fictional character called Layla, a woman who embodies the many great characteristics of the young, inspirational females that surround me. The collection reflects her transition into adulthood.
Melbourne based jeweller Kieran Jackson completed an Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology (Jewellery) at NMIT (now Melbourne Polytechnic) and has been represented by Pieces of Eight since 2016. He creates delicate pieces that balance a practical elegance with the boldness of the contemporary design. Usually building his work around the idea of the wearer, Kieran hopes to help the individual communicate their story and style.
