Deeply inspired by a trip to Italy in 2022, William Llewellyn Griffiths presents 'The Devil's In The Detail', a new series of couture designs drawing upon the enduring allure of medieval, Renaissance, Baroque and Gothic architecture and art.
Forging an alchemy between these inspirations, William utilises traditional craftsmanship, artisanal techniques and modern innovation to create jewellery that channels monarchs, myths, and romantic legends. These pieces are overtly theatrical yet covertly functional, with mechanical components, hidden compartments, and a manipulation of proportions that mediate narrative and nostalgia.
